Miroslav started his career doing software development for GPS navigation startups, moved on to becoming part of bank IT operations team and engaging in PM for international bank cards launch, building PMO and driving programs next, relying on PMI methodology of the day, namely waterfall. He has math/computing education background, PMP certified since 2009, ITIL 2011, and got IEDC Executive Education in 2009.
He thinks of himself as a recovering utilization addict . He is trying to cure himself via flirting with agile/lean in program/project management, via regular visits to conferences like Agile Adria and now also via giving speeches.
Few sentences he heard from colleagues he has worked with for the last decade or so about him have been “snow plough” and “dismantles, then constructs it all in the right manner”.
His goals today? Continue to initiate & drive complex programs & projects, but also advise, train & speak.
After all, finding out that he is Advisor/Pioneer/Creator (Standout test), Plant/Monitor Evaluator (Belbin test) and focused on Ideation/Analysis/Future/Strategy
(StrenghtsFinder test) – he believes it all fits well.
Currently is leading restructuring program in a large government owned company.
